Hi, I served with Presidents Smart and Davis from 1980-1981. I
am married to a wonderful man named Simi Eli, and we have a daughter
Justine Sarai , who just graduated from high school this year,

My name is Marlene Allred formally Sister Teichert. I served with
Presidents Smart and Davis from Jan. 81 through July of 82. I
married Sam Allred. We have 6 boys and 1 girl. We live in Helena
Mt. Last fall I had the priviledge of going to the Preston temple
and seeing parts of our old mission. We attended church in Huddersfield.
It was great to see the people there. I could hardly believe it
had been 20 years. Some of the people had hardly changed. Then
we went to visit dear friends I have kept in touch with in Barnsley

Whitehaven. Several years ago I had the opportunity to return to England and work
in London. It was great to get back to England and spend quids again :). On
weekends I would often rent a car or catch the train to go visit old friends, and
visit places that brought back so many memories. It was great. I now live in
Spanish Fork, Utah. I got married a bit later in life than most, but now have a
wonderful wife and three children. Life is good.

Dixie and Anne Leavitt
Sister Leavitt and I had the privilege of serving in the ELM asPresident
and Mission Motherbetween 6/84--8/87. We were so pleasedto hear
of this home page and have been delighted toread the updatesprovided
by some of our wonderful missionaries. Sister Leavittand I have
beenvery busy since we left England. Upon returning,I was elected
as a State Senator for the State of Utah andservedfour years in
that capacity. I chose not to seek re-election whenmy son Mike
decided to launch asuccessful bid for the Governorshipof the State
of Utah. In February of 1993, we were called to serveanother two-yearmission
as the Directors of the St. George, UtahTemple Visitors Center
and Historical Sites. While there we oversawthe constructionof
a new visitors center. It is quite a wonderfulfacility. Sister
Leavitt was recently awarded an honarary doctoratedegree from
Southern Utah University after havingfinished writinga book chronicling
the history of that institution. My life tookan interesting turn
in January, 1997 when I was called as the Bishopof our home ward.
I am sincerely enjoying this new calling. Weare the grandparents
of 26.4 grandchildren. If any of you travelto or through Cedar

Since my mission, I finished college (environmental chemistry), worked for the federal government, for LLoyds Register and now work for BECO (see www.beco.nl). The greatest compliment ever payed to me was marrying Sylvia and receiving our daughter Noëlle. Since 1990 I've had the priviledge to visit the mission many times to see friends (members and investigators).I have been fortunate to see many of the seeds we all planted become fruits. I returned to Columbus, Ohio where I wasted a lot of time and money on a BS degree in Communications. The positive side is that I met my beautiful wife, Bethany and married at the Washington DC Temple in 1994 and now have a boy and two girls. I've done a variety of work, mostly in government jobs (I hate working for corporations). We have lived in Texas, Illinois and have resided in Nebraska for the past three years where I work as a Corrections Officer at Nebraska's max facility in Tecumseh.
