OUTER COURT

The Tabernacle of Moses typifies three aspects of our salvation experience. When our spirit passes from death into the beginnings of new creation life, we enter into the outer court of the tabernacle, into the peripheral regions of Christ’s heavenly kingdom wherein He dwells. Not only do we begin entering into the outer regions of this kingdom, but this kingdom begins to come forth in us. The characteristics and the attributes of the King and his kingdom now are made manifest so that we might lay hold of his everlasting truth and His unmeasureable glory.

INNER COURT

When we experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we enter into the inner court or the Holy Place. It is here that we are enabled through the grace of God to live and operate in the gifts of the Spirit. The oil of the Holy Spirit illuminates us with light and we are enabled by the grace of God to see spiritual truths more clearly than before.

HOLY OF HOLIES

There is however, a third dimension, a third experience of pure light and truth that is beyond the veil. This is the realm of the Holy of Holies, the Most Holy Place. It is from here that the voice of the Lord calls us and draws us and it is here that we enter into the "manifest presence" of our Lord. It is only here that we are able to behold His glory face to face, and here only are we empowered and enabled to walk uprightly in the light of this glory.

The glory of the Lord spoke to Moses through a bush that burned yet was not consumed. This same glory rested on the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle of Moses and now it abides in you if so be that Christ dwells in you. Can you hear that voice that beckons and burns within you? If you have an ear, you can surely hear what the Spirit saith unto the church this day.

You will surely hear the cry of the Spirit coming to you from that Most Holy Place, coming through the veil of flesh even beyond the outer court regions echoing throughout the wilderness of your soul. Come out of her my people be not a partaker of her sins and her plagues. This is the way, walk ye in it. Press on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Be ye holy, even as He is holy. Cleanse yourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Pepare ye the way of the Lord.

In Him only, we have that Spirit, we have that power, we have that unction to walk in that glory even as Jesus did. For those who hear and press beyond that veil, a death to self-will occurs. This is the realm of putting away iniquity, of pure motives and perfect obedience.

FROM GLORY TO GLORY

Just as surely as the serpent sheds his skin, so our minds are shedding that old carnal nature that was buried with Him in baptism. Just as surely as the butterfly emerges from her former cocoon, so we come forth in our new spiritual nature in the likeness of resurrection. If you are content to grovel in the dust then you will remain in the confinement and limited glory of a little caterpillar and not be able to soar in the spirit in the freedom and glory of a beautiful butterfly.

To enter into the Holy of Holies is to have a progressive transformation of our being by which our earth bound soul is exchanged for the beauty and glory of Christ’s. That is, our mind, will and emotions are transformed, as we not by our own might, not by our own power, but by His Spirit, appropriate His mind, His will and His emotions.

The beauty of Christ’s nature is destined to shine through the redeemed human nature in all its glory. Now, in the process of this last veil being taken away we behold as in a glass, the glory of the Lord, and are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord - 2Cor.3:18

Many are called, few are chosen and fewer yet shall have the faith to attain unto this high calling, this holiest place of the kingdom. Those who have ears to hear know that an intervention of God is shortly to occur which will bring many, yet comparatively few of the overall church, into this realm. Utter gross darkness will not come upon the earth until a people are prepared who shall walk in the glorious light of His manifest presence.

"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people" but the Lord shall arise upon them, and His fullness of glory shall be seen upon them - Isa.60:1,2,19.

At times, the Lord does lead and guide His people through darkness in this earthly valley of the shadow of death, but He will not leave them in darkness. Going through or beyond the veil is not something that occurs because of our works or efforts. All that is required is to love the Lord more than our lives and to seek Him with all our hearts as He draws us into the presence of the Father in the most Holy Place.

We are to praise Him even in the midst of our deepest valleys as we allow self to die, always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. If you are risen with Christ, you are dead [your old man remains in death] and your new life is dying daily offering itself as a sacrifice wholly acceptable unto God and it is this life which is hid with Christ in God.

When Christ who is our new life shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in His glory. Put on as the elect of God, charity which is the bond of perfectness. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body - Col.3:1-15.

The Lord has been calling and preparing a remnant of His body even from previous visitations to enter this high calling. The necessary qualifications for entrance are determined by the Spirit of God as He looks upon the hearts of men and judges them in righteousness. We were judged as sinners, we are being judged as servants and some will enter first to remain beyond that veil, having been judged as faithful and obedient sons. Will you be one of the Father’s beloved sons in whom He is well pleased?

"Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood [vain egoism and iniquity], and has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is [and surely will be] the generation of those who seek Him." Psa.24:3-6 NAS. There shall be a remnant of His people who are prepared and willing to stand in the day of His power - Psa.110:3.

So then, what must we do to qualify? Again, we are to seek him with all our hearts. The Lord gives us of Himself, and makes it possible for us to reciprocally give of this love in return. We are to ask Him in humility to do what is necessary to purify our hearts and to give us strength to embrace the cross and the sufferings it brings. We are to seek to learn to walk in His righteousness. We are to seek first the kingdom of God asking the Lord to experientially take dominion over our lives bringing every area under the will of His Lordship.

In doing so, all these things of His kingdom shall be ours to experience and share. The natural eye has not seen neither the ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love Him - 1Cor.2:9.

He hath prepared for them a city (Heb.11:16) wherein shall be no natural temple, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it (Rev.21:22) ruling from within the holy of holies in the New Jerusalem whom we are - Psa.48:21. We the church, the bride, are in reality, "the city of the living God, the heavenly [spiritual] Jerusalem....the general assembly and church of the firstborn which are written in heaven." Heb.12:22,23.

As we allow the Lamb to take up His rightful place of rulership on the throne of our heart, we must also learn to wait upon the Lord at times to renew our strength. The virtue of patience is a must in a walk beyond the veil. It is those who learn true patience in tribulation who will be able to live and function in this heavenly realm.

OUR ONLY HOPE OF GLORY

Christ also, waits patiently within us leading and guiding us through the sovereignty of His Spirit. Christ coming for us, both in us and through us, is our true hope of glory. Those who have been waiting patiently for the Lord have been renewing their strength, and whether they know it yet or not, have really been waiting for a condescension of His glory.

We are approaching the day of the next manifest coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. He came first as a suffering Savior to die on the cross for our sins; but He is about to return first as a glorious King who will manifest His dominion over all things. The world shall not see Him anymore as He was - (Jn.14:19) but when we shall be like Him all shall see Him as He is - 1Jn.3:2.

Believe it or not, He is not coming as a literal king to sit on a literal throne in the old earthly city of Jerusalem as is commonly believed. He has already appeared that way once and was highly scorned and rejected, especially by the mainstream religious establishment - Jn.1:11.

No, this time He is going to appear in all His glory in the midst of His holy city New Jerusalem (Heb.12:22,23), wherein even now He is establishing His throne forever. He is returning first through a glorious people when He shall come to be glorified IN His saints and to be admired IN all them that believe - 1Ths.1:9,12. The mystery of Christ being formed (Gal.4:19) IN US is the true hope of glory - Col.1:27.

In type, His descent into the lower parts of the earth (Eph.4:9) prefigures his descent into the graveyard of our soul. His ascension is in fact, the genesis of our resurrection out from all death, which begins in initial salvation and ends in fullness of salvation in a glorious resurrected body like unto Christ’s. "We ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.- Rom.8:23.

Beloved, we are called to the obtaining of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ (2Ths.2:14) and our conversation [real life] is in heaven [the realm of the Spirit]; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto Himself." Phil.20, 21. Christ Jesus, after He had offered once sacrifice for sins forever, sits at the right hand of God from henceforth waiting TILL all his enemies be made his footstool - Heb.10:12, 13.

Not unto the world, but unto you that fear His name shall His glorious light appear and YE SHALL TREAD DOWN the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of YOUR FEET in the day that I SHALL DO THIS, saith the Lord - Mal.4:3.

He shall come in the fullness of His power to reign gloriously in the hearts of those who reverence Him, working in them and through them and with them (Isa.chptr.60), until the last vestiges of death are destroyed in the all consuming fire of His love and the omnipotent power of His resurrected life. So shall He reign as the head of His foot saints UNTIL He has put all enemies to rest under His feet...having put down all rule and all authority and power through them! - 1Cor.15:21-28.

The word "coming" in Scriptures is derived from the Greek word "parousia" which can be translated "presence." In the coming millennium His presence and glory will fill the whole earth. As that day approaches, the glory and presence of Jesus Christ will precede His person. This glory will be manifested in and through His church as a light to the nations in these last days and the ages to follow. According to Hebrews, "He [Christ] is the radiance of His [Father’s] glory and the exact representation of His nature - Heb.1:3a NASB. The very essence of Jesus Christ is the essence of God the Father’s glory.

In other words, Jesus is present in His glory. As His glory is made manifest, so is He. When the fullness of His glory arrives, so also does the presence of Jesus Christ. The life of Jesus Christ will be fully manifested in His Church and it is they who shall first see Him for we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure - 1Jn.3:2.

There are some of the bride, the Lamb's wife who are making themselves ready to be joined in the oneness of a marriage union with the Bridegroom when He arrives in the church in the fullness of His glory - Rev.19:7. Let all that are invited to the final wedding ceremony, pray that they might be found clothed in garments of white raiment and found worthy of His great love.

THE RISING SON

The prophet Malachi writes, "But unto you that fear my Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings" Mal.4:2. Jesus is the Sun [Son] of righteousness. He is the bright morning star that is about to fully rise in the hearts of His overcomers. That is the true "rapture" and it is taking place even now.

There shall be "a people prepared for the Lord" (Lk.1:17) who will usher in and walk in the glory of the millennial kingdom before others. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb - Rev.14:4. They will manifest and reveal the true nature of the Father and the Lamb and will manifestly demonstrate the kingdom of God both in word and in power as they take and "possess the kingdom." Dan.7:18.

That day is about to dawn and daybreak is almost upon us. As the glory falls on chosen and faithful saints, the day star (2Ptr.1:19) which is Christ within them, will arise to full stature in their hearts, rending the final veil that conceals the fullness of the Lord’s presence...revealing that shekinah glory that dwells in the purified hearts of His holy tabernacle. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined increasingly in their hearts, to give them full light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ - 2Cor.4:6

As His glory comes to abide with the overcoming saints of the Most High, a new day of the Lord begins. Therefore beloved saints of His glory, arise and shine. Awake, awake. Put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments oh Jerusalem, for the Lord is coming in holy myriad's of Himself - Jude 14 (Grk.diag.).

The fullness of His manifest glory is about to rise in all its splendor upon the faithful sons of God - Ro.8:19. Nations shall come to that light and kings to the brightness of that rising - Isa.60:2,3; Rev.21:23,24. "The glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together" Isa.40:5. The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." Habk.2:14; Isa.11:9. Oh how great shall be the glory of the Lord! Psa.138:5.

"Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world,

say ye to the daughter of Zion, [the bride, the Lamb's wife].

Behold, thy salvation cometh;

behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord:

and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken." Isa.62:11,12.

+ + + + +

Surely my people have I chosen to bring thee,

Into a place of rest where thou shalt walk with me.

Into higher heights and deeper depths,

Thou shalt enter in as thou followest my steps.

And there it is thou shalt surely see,

That which before has been spoken to thee.

Behold, signs and wonders shall surely appear,

When thou my people, do draw so near.

In the secret place, which I have prepared for thee,

I do draw thee closer so that thou mightest see,

The revealing of glory which I promised to some,

Is nigh at they door, it is ready to come.

Yes, even as the prophets of old have spoken and told,

It has been promised to thee, ye sheep of my fold.

As thou entereth this land never trodden before,

Behold, I will open wide unto thee an unseen door.

And surely thou shalt enter therein,

And deliver thyself from all of thy sin.

When my people humble themselves and do pray,

It is close to My bosom, they surely shall stay.

For behold, I would say this word unto thee,

Kingdom gates will I open, for I’m setting thee free.

And the faithful shall come, even all the way through,

Entering this kingdom I have chosen for you.

Blessed is this kingdom, a prize to be won,

An inheritance incorruptible, a reward of the Son.

Greater glory than this can no man achieve,

Than to reign with the Son, if thou wilt only believe.
