Note: Mabie Todd, maker of quality pen from circa 1884 -1950? Swan is name on their pens. Clips on some of the pens have a swan in relief on the top of the clip. Blackbird & Swallow are two names for pens to look for. |

 On the
clip it say R 14 K. Sane Clip. The R may stand for rolled
gold. I don't know what the r stands. There is some gold
missing in small bits from the ball. Seen by 10 x loupe.
