Del’Mar Working Border Collies and Dorper Sheep is operated by Dave & Janet Ellison on Gardi Rd. west of Kamloops BC, just off the Trans Canada Hwy. overlooking beautiful Kamloops Lake
Kamloops is a small pleasant city of 80,000 with good shopping, restaurants, theatres & clubs, etc. The area offers excellent trout fishing, cross-country and down-hill skiing, interesting driving tours and plenty of golf courses.
We have 20 acres of semi desert and pasture land on Cherry Creek.
We have a flock of Dorper & Dorper cross sheep and of course plenty of dogs. Guests are welcome
to tour the sheep corals, take a walk to the creek or watch Dave work with some of the many dogs.
We have two guest bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with two
singles.
There is a shared washroom with a shower.
A TV sitting room with plenty of books and videos. The sitting room opens onto a private patio overlooking the lamb pasture.
Join the hosts in their spacious kitchen complete with a wood
burning cook stove and the smell of home baked bread with a view of Kamloops Lake.
