I'm
a retired ambulance paramedic, former
broadcaster, mountain bike tour guide and
commercial pilot. In the past, I
have flown many aircraft, including some
owned alone and in partnerships. My
flying now is confined to summer seasonal
jobs in the northern latitudes. I
write for aviation publications including
the Canadian Owners & Pilots
Association (COPA), the Aviation News
Journal, which is published in Vancouver,
Canada and distributed in many countries,
and for web-based newsletters. Home
is now on Gabriola Island, British
Columbia, about 25 miles off the coast of
Vancouver. Although physically
isolated, we're reachable by ferry over
here, and connected by telephone and
internet service. Your e-mails are
always welcome, I read them all, and
respond to most. bcflyer@propilots.net |
